Chestnut flour is a food rich in protein, minerals (phosphorus, calcium, iron, zinc, magnesium and copper), and vitamins (type B and folic acid).  It contains no cholesterol, provides great amount of fiber, and is gluten free. I love using chestnut flour to make gluten-free breads, because the nutty taste in the bread is delicious, plus the, chestnut flour benefits your muscles and circulation, combats anemia, is antiseptic, increases the body’s defenses, and helps prevent depression.
