When a recipe tells you to put in a ½ cup of white sugar and a ½ cup of brown sugar, I replace the last one with coconut palm sugar.  Coconut is one of my favorite fruits because it is so healthy and tasty, and it has so many benefits.  Coconut is antiviral, antifungal, antibacterial, and anti-parasitic, meaning it kills harmful bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites.  Also, coconut great for your hair, skin and keeps you young and beautiful.  Don’t worry about the high contents of fat because it actually lowers cholesterol and reduces chances of heart disease, while preventing osteoporosis.  All-in-all, it is a great alternative to those that can’t tolerate lactose.
