Hemp oil is great for overall well-being. It leaves your skin smooth and healthy. I like to use it especially during winter months when your skin needs more moisture because of indoor heating systems and colder air outdoors, which both dry out the skin and hair. And because it has anti – inflammatory properties, its perfect to massage sore muscles. For oils and scrubs, I like to use glass jars in different shapes, making sure the lid fits perfectly.
Hemp Oil Massage
1/2 cup hemp oil
1 teaspoon vitamin E oil
1tablespoon fresh herbs
(like basil, lavender, rosemary, mint or a combination)
Mix all the ingredients together in a small saucepan. Gently heat the mixture, but don’t let it come to a boil. Pour the warm oil through a fine-mesh sieve to remove any bits of herbs, then let it cool completely before spooning in a clean jar with lid. To use, massage a small amount into your skin. It yield 4 ounces.
